Absolutely! HiEm has a program for beginners (Discovery Level). We teach from zero, starting with the most basic vocabulary. Your child will learn at their own pace in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Many of our families started with zero Vietnamese experience.

Absolutely! Online classes are perfect for families outside our Box Hill and Doncaster locations. Your child can join live interactive lessons from home, connect with our teachers, and participate in all our games and activities through our Hi Em Platform. No matter where you are, learning Vietnamese with us is just a click away!

Yes! All our teachers are native Vietnamese speakers. They understand the culture, language nuances, and how to teach Vietnamese to children who are growing up in English-speaking environments. Our teachers bring authentic cultural knowledge to every class.

While home practice is not mandatory, we strongly recommend it for optimal results. Our teaching approach includes:
In-class lessons (1-2 sessions per week, 45 minutes)
Home practice through Hi Em Platform (games, challenges, anytime access)
Natural exposure to Vietnamese at home (conversations, media)
Research shows that consistent practice—even just 15-20 minutes a few times a week—accelerates language acquisition. Our platform makes it easy and enjoyable for children.

Depending on intensity and starting level, children typically show progress in 2-4 weeks (better listening comprehension, simple speaking). After 3 months, changes are very noticeable.
